In motorcycle gloves, the thumb area is often slightly looser to allow better movement and grip on the handlebars. This design prevents pressure points, accommodates protective padding, and improves comfort during long rides.
Description
Description
Old-school feel. Proper leather. No fake heritage required.
The RTWR MTRS “1969” Vintage Gloves are handmade from 100% cowhide leather and built for riders who prefer timeless materials over disposable trends. The brown leather develops character with use, while the clean, stripped-back design suits classic motorcycles, scramblers and café racers without looking like costume gear.
Ventilation holes help airflow on warmer rides, the reinforced palm adds durability where it matters and the embossed RTWR MTRS branding keeps the finish understated.

Fit & break-in
Leather gloves should fit snugly when new. The leather softens and adapts to your hands with use. If you are between sizes or prefer more room, choose the larger size.
Leather care
Do not machine wash. Let wet gloves dry naturally away from direct heat. Use a suitable leather conditioner sparingly when needed. Natural leather may initially transfer a small amount of colour, especially when damp.
Good to know
Motorcycle gloves cannot prevent every injury. Always inspect them before riding and replace them after significant damage or a crash.
